Individual coaching and preparation for the medical specialist language examination (C1) for physicians and medical professionals

Key focus areas

• Clinical communication: Appropriate communication structures in daily hospital practice (rounds, handovers, and discussions with nursing staff, patients, and colleagues).

• Case discussions: Structured review of all medical specialties relevant to the examination (e.g., internal medicine, surgery) using concrete case studies (heart attack, appendicitis, etc.).

• Terminology: Systematic training in translating Latin medical terms into patient-friendly German (and vice versa).

• Targeted exam preparation: Simulation and in-depth coaching for the three official sections of the medical association examinations:

1. Medical history interview: Empathetic, structured, and comprehensive patient assessment.

2. Documentation: Drafting a professional, structured medical report or patient history form under time pressure.

3. Physician-to-physician communication: Professional patient presentation and clinical discussion with colleagues.

You decide where we work: I prefer to welcome you to my premises in Hamburg for focused in-person sessions. Alternatively, I can come directly to you, or we can meet flexibly via video call.
